Question Does Anybody Remember??

My boyfriend and I love "The Flinstones" and there's an episode that we can't seem to remember and hope that one of you can help. I don't remember what's the story but at one point; all the guys sing:

"What's The Matter With Flintstone, He's All Right"

Default That was featured in-

--"The Golf Champion" [12/9/60], where Fred tries to make Barney "go outta his mind" by throwing a party/barbecue (without inviting HIM), with singing, dancing {featuring "Lead-Foot Charlie"}, and "dino steaks"...only to discover that Barney's "away for the weekend". "Out, you freeloaders, out!! O-W-T...OUT!!!!"

I want to thank you for telling me which episode it was. My boyfriend bought the first season a long time ago and we forgot that it was on that one.
I watched it last night and saw another part that I was trying to remember.
I really appreciate you helping me with this one; it was really bugging me.

Default You're very welcome...

...'80s_Fan'. Happy to hear both of you enjoyed "The Golf Champion" all over again [it was originally telecast on ABC in black & white, before they started showing a few shows in color by the fall of 1962..."THE FLINTSTONES" among them!].
Any other questions? Just let me know.....and thanks.

I never knew the show had some black & white episodes!! You learn something new every day!

I knew that the opening of the early episodes was in black and white-I've known that ever since the cartoon network started showing that "lost" opening in 1993. You know, the one with a different opening song, and they show Fred driving home, he stops at the cleaners, stops and gets a newspaper, drives home, pulls his car into the garage, gets out, walks in the house, Wilma's standing there with his dinner on a tray, he takes it, kisses her, goes in, walks over, turns on the TV (that was when hardly anyone had remotes ), then sits down and they show a close-up of the TV coming on.

I saw on YOU TUBE, another version of that opening, where, after he walks in the house, an announcer says "THE FLINTSTONES IS BROUGHT TO YOU TONIGHT BY WINTSTON" and they show a pack of Winstons on a table, and Fred & Wilma each reach down and take one, then they show Fred lighting his and Wimas, and he sings the Winston Jingle.

OK, TV KNOWLEDGE FAN, point out some trivia about that-as you seem to know so much about TV!

TV Flintstones ad

The You Tube commercial. I'd like to see the whole opening/closing. I taped it off cable, but the Orange County of California Public Guardian STOLE or destroyed all of my tapes!
