Default CW is basically The WB Pt. 2

With the exception of "Veronica Mars," and "America's Next Top Model," I bet NO other UPN shows will make it to the network's second season.

"Girlfriends" and "Everybody Hates Chris" are digging their own grave. Who's idea was it to put those two shows on Sunday?

They'll do alright but Girlfriends is an aging series. I can't see it back for Season 2 of The CW. Everybody Hates Chris will be fine, I think.

Ratings will more or less stay the same for every show, IMO, as they were on UPN/WB. I really don't see a big jump for any of them, although Top Model went up a bit.

EHC has the worst time slot. Sunday's at 7. It would have done better at 8.

It really is because I beleive they said they were basically going for the teen audience which the WB did. UPN's basic concept was to get the African-American audience. I don't see why they just didn't shut down the UPN network and add those to The WB, since it is the basic same network.

The CW will never be The WB, IMHO. Nothing will ever replace it.

I have a feeling in the next year or so, we'll all be saying farewell to WB veterans; 7th heaven, Gilmore Girls, Smallville, and Reba. One Tree Hill will probably be gone as well. I have a feeling The CW won't be around half as long as The WB was.

I don't really know if Veronica will go another year. it's inly renewed this Season for 13 episodes, so far. And it's the lowest rated returning series on any Network. Unless we take in some of that Gilmore audience, Veronica is done. It's amke or break time now. Us fans saved the show from cancellation twice already.

I have never seen Veronica Mars, but I think that pairing it with GG is a good tactic for the show bc GG has a such a strong following, so the lead-in will help VM moreso than people think. Especially given the similar target audicences of the show and the fact that both shows have strong female leads.

I don't think Smallville is going anywhere. The actors are under contract for another year so if the ratings are good this season, they're basically forced to do another season.

I think the CW will be around for a long time. I mean the ratings have come in and it is basically getting the same kind of ratings the WB got. I don't think it will ever get the big ratings like the other 4 big networks get. I mean I think whoever is in charge is thinking about how Fox use to be such a small network and then became huge. I doubt that success will happen again.

I think FOX became huge because they made the prudent decision to "grow up." The WB stayed teen-centric for way too long so it was never going to be anything bigger than a niche network.

But it isn't getting the same ratings the WB got. Most of the series are getting half the ratings they got last year.

Not from what we all seen this week!!! UGH!

And btw, GG and Veronica have absolutley nothing in common. Female leads??? So I take it Desperate Housewives and My So Called Life are the same too?
