I just finished watching the pilot on my DVR, and I wholeheartedly agree. I had high hopes for this show, and I wasn't let down.
I hope that the Judd Hirsch character will make some intermittent guest appearances throughout the series. |

I really enjoyed the pilot. A great cast in a very smart show. Television can be smart people. Some of the creative folks haven't given up! |

I love this show! My husband sometimes doesn't get what they are saying, but I think it is so clever and funny...and it's not the humor that you are used to which I love!! It would be cool if they brought back Hirsch's character...maybe at some point during the season?!

So far, I have really liked what I have seen with Studio 60. It's full of great people, and the show's observations about the TV world are spot on.
A blogger for the Onion had a great observation about the show a while back, and a great point was made: We all know that "Studio 60" is supposed to be a thinly veiled look at SNL and NBC. Everyone knows this, it's the worst kept secret in the world. Yet, in the Studio 60 universe, NBC and SNL exist, and are mentioned. Do you think Aaron Sorkin got some pressure from NBC to write SNL into the storyline so it is established that this is (wink wink) defintly, positivley not a thinly veiled look at SNL and NBC? |

I like it also...I am just afraid for it after having seen that the ratings aren't even doing so well. I really don't understand why that is; it's just quality television. Maybe it's too advanced for some viewers. I know that my husband doesn't get everything they are saying bc it tends to get really business-y sometimes.
