Default Presenting: Wait Till Your Father Gets Home Title Cards

I am recording every episode so I won't miss a title card. Here is the one from last night's episode.

I've only had a chance to see the pilot (which aired on LOVE AMERICAN STYLE)
and a brief clip from an episode which was part of the retropective special
YABBA DABBA DOO! THE WORLD OF HANNA-BARBERA. But I really like the
drawings, very different from the other H-B shows. In fact, they look a lot
like some of Joe Barbera's early magazine cartoons (reprinted in Ted Sennett's
book "THE ART OF HANNA-BARBERA").

Well they skipped episode #5 "Help Wanted", (replaced by episode #25, Bringing up Jamie) I am assuming it was due to content, alot of references to religion and being gay. I guess that one can't even air at 3:30AM eastern on a "children's channel", this show should be on adult swim instead.

Aww Crap! I am trying to make a complete set and I can't believe they skipped one. I don't know the episode order but dang. I am really dispointed now. I just finished burning disk one of my set on Saturday.

I too spent Saturday afternoon starting my DVD set with disc one, that's how I discovered they skipped #5.....they did play #6 last night 9/25....

There are many good episode guides for the show, try a google search or go to www.tv.com. It will be much easier to follow the series, my cable guide had #5 scheduled to play, but they played #25 (first of second season). You will notice slightly different animation styles used in the second season.

good luck, at least I'm not the only one trying to get a complete set...it is nice Boomerang has no commericials.

oh I know, I still edited out the little bumpers anyway. So that is two they skipped? I burned them to a RW, but I haven't watched it yet.

Default There were...

...48 episodes in the series, 'gilligan'. Good luck in posting ALL the title cards here- but I suspect Boomerang will "skip" more episodes along the way, so watch carefully!

I think we have some trouble brewing for us fans who have been recording "Wait till your father gets home" everynite on boomerang...I pushed my electronic program guide ahead till next week and it seems they are starting over already.....doesn't make any sense since these are hanna barbera toons owned by boomerang's owners Time Warner, so a license fee shouldn't be a problem......just be aware we may not get our complete sets....

also in another thread here titled warner cartoon releases in '07 "father, season 1" is listed as being on the drawing board for possible release but that hardly means we will ever see the more desirable season 2 released with animated guest star celebrities.

Yeah, I would love to see the guest stars. Preety annoying for them to stop showing it. I am even getting the Love American Style episode to throw on my set. Looks like it may never be completed
