my landlord passed away tonight - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

im sad tonight because at 720 pm. john who was not only my landlord but also a good friend not only to my mother and myself but also to everyone who lived in our apartment building passed away. he had been ill for quite awhile but even though i know he isant in pain anymore im still very sad because he was such a wonderful person to be around he was always very kind to people never complianed if the rent was a few days late went to the market for people in the building if they were sick and in short was one of the kindest men you could ever hope to meet i like to think that right now he is in a very specail place . a few weeks back i asked all of you to say prayers for him when he was in the hospital and many of you did and from the bottom of my heart i thank all of you im sure that all of you here would have really liked him i know i sure did. and i will miss him very much.

I'm sorry. John does sound like he was a wonderful man. It's not often that landlords do anything extra for their tenants.

Will there be any changes in your apartment building with his passing?

I remember you talking about your landlord on SO this summer, one of the few times I actually logged on while I was away. Yes, I did pray for him. I am so sad for you and others who knew him

But he does sound like a very special individual. The world would be better to have more people like that. My condolences go out to you. I believe he is in a very happy place.

thank you janice im not sure whats going on with the building yet but whoever takes johns place is going to have a tough act to follow
