Obviously if you rip it bad you shouldn't re use it but ones that aren't messed up do you see anything wrong with reusing them? I haven't bought new ones in a long time. It seems kind of pointless to do that when you get used ones in all the time. What are your thoughts on this?

I reuse all the time, not just mailing envelopes (bubble only), but DVD sleeves (I don't use them for myself). I try to open packages with the intent of reusing the packaging.
I also recycle, and I try to buy things in bulk in order to cut down on wasted packaging materials. Reusing materials isn't a negative in my book. |

Just be sure to buy a big fat black marker, about $2 at an office store. Then cover over any addresses or other information. Rip off old stickers or labels as best you can.
I like to staple re-used envelopes shut, then put tape over the staples because USPS hates staples, messes up their machines, and they often refuse stapled packages where staples are not covered. Put tape over any worn areas. |

Reuse whatever you can: Bubble wrap, bubble mailers, styro popcorn (can be reused forever!). It makes economical and environmental sense. Save your $ and help the environment at the same time.

my opinion is
just as long as it gets there in great shape, the packaging is at your option i dont reuse mailers, since i send almost everything priority, and those are absolutely free the very small ones i send first class and use 8 cent self stick mailers, so really no need to reuse things at my end |

I reuse all the time. I remember Office Depot used to sell plastic mailers which were reusable and easy enough to tear off tape and address labels. They got rid of them for some reason, I wonder why

As long as the packaging is still in good shape why not?
You can always use mailing label stickers for the new sender/shipping addresses and some glue to re-adhere the flap. |
