did you, or do you, know anyone who was affected by 9/11? Or personaly involved in it somehow?
I do, sort of. My brother-in-law knew some people who were in the twin towers that day (in fact, 1 guy had to help 14 people in wheelchairs get out!! ) and my sister-in-law was working in Washington, D.C. when the pentagon was struck. In fact, she was near it.

I know of two people who lost a loved one in the WTC. My former boss' brother worked for Cantor Fitzgerald. That's the company where every employee died, except ironically, the owner.
Also, my aunt by marriage (my uncle's wife)...her nephew just happened to be at the WTC that day for an interview. I didn't losed a loved one personally, but I remember how strange it felt sending out two sympathy cards....one to my former boss, and the other to my aunt. |
