I am about to deal with Andy0213 and this is my first time here....can someone verify the reputation of Andy0213 for me please? I am not sure if I worded this correctly, but I am nervous of dealing with someone I don't know at all! Thank you in advance.....

No email address yet...just PM's. Do you think this is OKay? This person has an address and signed the name "Jess" on previous posts here on this board.

They do not have PayPal, check or money order preferred.

His email address is private. He can't sell on this board. It's against the rules, but anyone who does not take Paypal would make me a bit suspicious. There is recourse when you don't receive what you paid for. Just my two cents.

I'd be willing to bet that this is his auction on Ioffer. All 14 seasons, $20.00 per set, no paypal, and lives in Canada.

paypal has cracked down on people who sell non retail dvd sets

they have closed numerous accounts

and yes they closed 5 of mine

so just becasue one doesnt take paypal, doesnt really mean much anymore

those that do, just havent been busted yet, they will


and the idea that paypal will do anything for you is just plain overblown and incorrect

lets say you buy and item and the seller sends an empty box with delivery con on it

your just plain out

paypal doesnt worry about that

once again, as long as del con is used

paypal doesnt care

lets say you paid for a 9 of 10 set

and got a just nasty set

once again paypal doesnt care, as long as del con was used

lets say you purchased the extra cost buyer protection, money back gaurentee from paypal

once again, your just plain out

read the fine print

does not cover this type of thing

you paid for protection and got zero

and lets explore the next myth

charge backs

if the seller did his del con, and followed the rules, by shipping to a confirmed address

the seller is protected, even if he stole from you

you may get money from a charge back, but not from the seller

and if you use account funds, theres no charge back avaible

only if you have a zero balance and use a good credit card will you have any recourse at all
