I know there are probably many people here who don't believe in the afterlife. But in this thread, if you could just pretend that you do, who are the people you'd like to meet when you die?
Some people I'd like to meet are: Andy Gibb Maurice Gibb John Lennon George Harrison Elvis Presley Buddy Holly Karen Carpenter Enid Blyton My Grandmother My Great Aunt Jesus Steve Irwin Allen Ginsberg |

Okay, it's kinda corny, but...
I'd like to meet my maternal Grandparents. My Mom's Father died long before I was born and my maternal Grandmother died when I was an infant, so I never knew them. |

I'd like to meet my grandparents and great aunts and uncles who've passed away. As for as celebs, I wouldn't mind meeting Ted Knight, so I could tell him how much I loved him on TMTMS. Most of the other celebs I like are still with us (knock wood!), so I think that about covers it.
BTW, Sharop, have you read the book The Five People You Meet in Heaven? If not, I HIGHLY recommend it! - Kristen |

Aside from my parents, direct ancestors I've never met that go way back--and my relatives--I'd also like to meet...
St. Paul Martin Luther John Wesley General Patton Queen Elizabeth I Sir Francis Drake Princess Diana Abraham Lincoln Ulysses Grant Teddy Roosevelt Franklin Delano Roosevelt Anne Frank Rosa Parks Harriet Tubman Elvis Buddy Holly Johnny Unitas (my current avatar) John Wayne Samantha Smith (a young peace activist who visited the USSR during the Cold War) St. John Crysostom Audie Murphy (WWII hero) Sergeant Alvin C. York (WWI hero) Julian of Norwich King David King Solomon (Of course, and most of all, I'd like to meet Jesus, but thought that answer might be too obvious) ...and many others |

My Mom, all my Grandparents, and other family members would be on the top of my list.. Famous people I think I'd like to meet Ronald Reagan. Celebrities would include John Ritter, Elvis, and maybe some old timers like Jimmy Stewart and John Wayne.

I would also like to meet Alex DeFord. She was a little girl who died of cystic fibrosis. Her father wrote a book, Alex: The Life of a Child, which I've always loved.
