Here's another case that I haven't seen in ages and I don't think it's been mentioned on the boards recently. My memory on it is really vague. Wanted to see if anyone else remembers it or knew any names.
It was about a young African-American lady who was murdered after she got off work one night. She worked in a kitchen or restuarant. I believe she was either murdered or found in the parking lot of an apartment complex. Thanks for any info. |

Are you referring to April Gregory, whose segment aired concurrent with the Kristin Smart segment? Both females were college students who disappeared on the same night.
In April's case, she disappeared on her way to work (she worked at a restaurant) and was never seen again. If this is the case you are referring to, her boyfriend was arrested for her murder. If you search the threads, you'll find news links to the articles. |

I have this segment and her name was Tracy Wofford-Bunn. She was African American and did work in a restaurant in Baton Rouge. I believe her boyfriend had her car that night and he said the stick shift broke. He told her when she got home late that night and she went walking to go get it. I believe she was found the next morning in her car and she had been murdered. I can't remember if she had been raped or not but there were mysterious burns on her thighs. Tracy's sister had heard talk around that a drug dealer may have killed her although I don't know the motive. I've searched the net before about this case but haven't been able to find out anything about it.

According to the UM segment, there was no sign of a struggle at the crime scene. So there is speculation that Tracy knew her killer. |

Thanks again for the info everyone. Now that I think of it, I do remember her being found in a car positioned upright. The thing about the burn marks was weird.

Hope it's okay to post all cases with details too fuzzy to search here.
Non-custodial father abducted two children. Mother concerned he was abusive and teaching children the same--that her son thought nothing of slapping his sister across the face and said, "Daddy does this to Mommy." Blonde teenage girl saw something awful while on a movie set, became hysterical, and disappeared before anyone could learn what it was about. Death of teen boy in his home, ruled a suicide despite evidence he was hit by a baseball bat with a phone book used to prevent bruises. Fifteen-year-old boy shot in wooded area near his home (in Missouri?) Ruled a suicide as he was shot with his own gun, despite evidence that he was hit on top of the head and then shot lying on the ground. He had also found a mysterious box that might indicate drug dealers in the area. Mystery man at courthouse told parents, "Go home and raise your other children. You will never know who killed your son." |

How about the young man in the Chicago area (I think) who apparently agreed to drive a car full of drugs once, then there was a fight or something probably because they refused pay him? They either killed him to eliminate a witness or because he refused to leave unpaid? Not only were his hands badly injured, but they couldn't pass THAT off as a suicide as he was found in a car trunk in an abandoned building! Any information and updates? |

Okay, how about the one where a serial killer was captured, confessed, and gave locations of bodies of all his victims. In every case a body was found where he said except one. A lady picked up at, or leaving, a bar. He strangled her and left her for dead alongside the road, where it's believed another psycho picked her up. Someone claiming to be one of a number of "girls" being held captive by this guy called her family asking if they were interested in helping her. Anything on this?
