Uproar.com to cease operations September 30, 2006
If you have an account to uproar.com, be advised as of September 30, 2006, the site will be shut down permanently at midnight (ET). I know this is shocking to many who enjoy the games (especially game shows) that I enjoyed and the fun things the site has.
Possibly it has to do with filing bankruptcy protection (or something to say the least). For more, go to Uproar's site. Very sad to see it go, but hopefully, the versions of the classic game shows will be picked up by Yahoo!, GSN or another site in the future. I saw the news at another message board this morning and I thought I'd share this sad news. |
