Default Understanding Gary Coleman

i've seen a few posters here give Gary a lot of **** about coming off as being pompous, arrogant and a few other choice names.

i had the same opinion when i saw footage of him in court over the Tracy Fields matter. by getting an attitude with the opposing attorney, he did make himself look antagonistic (though i believe that he didn't attack her without "reason").

nonetheless...

given what he was gone through and how he was exploited by his parents and chewed up and spitted out by the very Hollywood community he helped make money for, could you blame him for being a bit of a *****? i'd be angry at the world myself if i was in his shoes...

I could understand his bitterness, but it's time to get over that now. he is an ass to anyone who mentions Diff'rent Strokes, which to me is unprofessional. The viewers are the ones who paid his salary, and he was seen by millions of people, so what does he expect? Lots of actors and actresses are recognized by their stage name and doesn't seem to mind. Gary Coleman needs to grow up and stop acting like a bitch.

I think the big thing with Gary is that not only is he tpecast but he's typecast as a little boy and because of his illness he still looks a lot like that little boy. That might be why he's a lot angrier than others who were typecast. It must be hard being a 30 something year old man and everyone wants you to do that Watcha Talkin About phrase. I agree I think he has a lot of anger issues and needs some help.

Embarrassed him?! I saw that a while back, who does gary Coleman think he is?! He wants people to kiss his ass?! Why?! Because he doesn't want to be known as little Arnold?! Vanilla Ice was just trying to embrace that little imp. it's a good thing gary isn't getting any work today because he definitly can't handle the press.

Gary should've responded by asking Vanilla Ice to do " Ice Ice Baby" or he could've put Todd Bridges on him

Well I feel sorry for Gary in some ways, but Emmanuel Lewis handled his dwarfism and height well. He now owns a few recording studios and appeared happy on the Surreal Life Season 1. Also vanilla did sing Ice Ice Baby in one episode.I think Gary is getting better. Also Traci Fields was trying to provoke him after she wouldn't give her a autograph.
