Arrow Japanese IQ Test

A co-worker sent this to me the other day, and it is quite challenging!! I'm still working on it. Can you do it??? And, note how long it took you to complete it. Here are the instructions that were given to me:

This is an IQ test given to job applicants in Japan:

"Everybody Has to Cross the River".

http://freeweb.siol.net/danej/riverIQGame.swf

The following rules apply:

Only 2 individuals on the raft at a time.

The father cannot stay on the shore with any of the daughters, without their mother's presence.

The mother can not stay on the shore with any of the sons, without their father's presence.

The thief (striped shirt) can not stay with any family member, if the policeman is not there.

Only the father, the mother and the policeman know how to operate the raft.

To start, go to the link and click on the big blue circle on the right.

To move the people, click on them.

To move the raft, click on the pole on the opposite side of the river.

I did these kinds of problems in my math class last year. I had a chronic headache for about 3 months.

That took me about 10 minutes...
I always found those things easy, for some reason

Grrrr... I still can't get it!

Well, I actually haven't a sit-down chance to work at it. I have tried for a few minutes and then did something else and then returned. I'm trying...

Okay, I cheated!! I was looking for some hints on Google, and I came across this website that gives it away. I did it that way, but now I want to do it on my own...

Kristen, I sent you a hint via PM.
