I found out today that yesterday The Biography Channel aired the Mary Tyler Moore Show biography. I was searching their schedule for a replay when I noticed that the program "Dead Famous: Ghostly Encounters: Lucille Ball" is airing this Saturday (September 9) at 1PM E.T. I heard about this show last year but never had the chance to see it so I'm glad they're airing it again. The title sounds interesting in a creepy sort of way
Here's a web page about the show: http://www.biography.com/listings/ep...isodeid=151991Oh yeah, and the Mary Tyler Moore Show biography is not scheduled to air again in the near future. Oh well, as Maxwell Smart used to say, "Missed it by that much." |

Yes, I watched the show.
The first part was interesting. The "Ghost chasers" stayed the night in the studio where the first season of I Love Lucy was filmed. The male thought something walked past him in the dark but didn't pick up a vibe that it could have been Lucy. They then had a seance in the studio, but were unable to contact Lucy's spirit. They then spent the night at some hotel in Coronado where they said Lucy and Desi loved vacationing. They were in the room of the hotel's resident ghost (not Lucy) when the phone rang. The female picked it up nobody was there! That made her start crying. Then she said her legs felt heavy and started freaking out. The male began pleading with the ghost to take over his body because his partner couldn't handle it. She then became so upset that she hightailed it out of the hotel and wouldn't go back in. They surmised that they were visited by the hotel's ghost and not Lucy. Finally they went on the Queen Mary ship which was converted into a hotel and is docked in Long Beach, CA. They said Lucy loved sailing on the Queen Mary so, since the ship is said to be haunted, Lucy's spirit might be on board. Some psychic who does haunted tours on the ship accompanied them to try to find Lucy. Although the male said something ghostly threw a bolt at him in the dark (he first though the spirit ripped a button off his jacket but it was the bolt being thrown at him) they didn't think it was Lucy. Even though they never did find Lucy's spirit it was fun to watch. |

Sorry, but that whole show sounds like it was full of enough crap to sink the Queen Mary!
