George Lucas must be making a fortune off the Star Wars releases..it seems like everytime you check, it's being rereleased in some other form.

and his fans are spending the $$ as well

about a year ago i took a bunch of purchased vhs tapes and listed them on ebay

in hopes of getting a few bucks here and there

i guess i had some rare version of the first three movies, and got about $250 for the three used --but in perfect shape--tapes and covers

i would have been happy with $10

there are soem hard core star wars collectors out there

Are there extras on the sets? I've had them for years, laserdisc transfers.

yes to extras
but nothing special
just same typical stuff
BUT they did each come with a reprint of the marvel comics comic book of the movie, in a paperback sized edition
so that was pretty cool i guess

Just like I figured. Mostly the same stuff as previous releases, but a few more things just to get people to re-buy it all again since they want the extras. When that freakin' MASH complete series set comes out with all of the extras they neglected to include with the last 10 seasons released, I'll blow my lid! I guess they want all of those people who loyally bought them as they came out to have to get the complete series to get the extras.

I'm definitely getting these. The only other release I ever bought were the VHS releases of the original trilogy and the prequel trilogy DVD releases. Since it's only gonna be available for a few months (which stinks), I'll probably get two sets.
