Default Any News on a Season 2 DVD?

I've been quiet for some time on here...life's been busy. In any case, I was wondering if anyone heard anything on a season two DVD release yet?

In the meantime, I've been watching another show that I am now as addicted to as I am "Night Court." Has anyone ever watched "House" on Fox? I think certain aspects of it are like "Night Court." Maybe that's why I enjoy it so much. (lol) Anyway, I love it. Hugh Laurie rocks!

I've been busy too and have not posted here for a while. I haven't heard anything for a season two DVD release yet. The last "Night Court"-related news I've heard was Harry Anderson had closed down his night club and moved out of New Orleans.

I too have been watching "House" on Fox for more than a month after seeing some reruns. Hugh Laurie is one of the best things about that show. Just last night, I saw Laurie on a repeat of his Britcom "Jeeves and Wooster" just a half-hour before the third season premiere of "House." Amazing how he switched accents from British to American.

How is "House" similar to "Night Court"? I'm guessing that like Harry Stone, Gregory House is unconventional but adept at his job. Their staff may be thrown off by Harry's and House's behaviors but the courthouse and hospital would not be the same without them.

I read in the news source in August 2006 that Harry Anderson and his family move to Asheville North Carolina. They have sold their house in New Orlean is selling Oswald up for sales. They both have depression mood in New Orleans and is very concern about not many vistor & $$$ in New Orleans and he does not like Mayor Ray Nagin( I dont blame him but that mayor does have a fresh mouth & not very nice mayor). That is the reason why they move out of New Orleans. That is the new updated August 2006.

Now they settled in a new home in Asheville North Carolina for peace and quiet.

Harry, Im glad that you are settled in nice peace & quiet in your new home in N.C. I will be thinking of you and I hope that you will visit your fan as guest star on tv when you are ready in the future.

I dont watch tvland anymore. I hope I can watch Night Court in another channel. I was hoping I network will air the show in the future. But I will wait see what happen with I network in next few months if that network rating up or down in the future. I guess that about all the news

I dont know what Markie Post is doing right now or any updated news about her yet. Most former tv star like to keep in low profile to keep away from nosey reporter.

For me, I think House has that smart aleck quality of Dan Feilding, but deep down has a bit of a Harry-like personality. He's a maverick and like you said "unconventional." I think each of the characters on House has some bit of a "Night Court" character quality to them as well. Dr. Chase (Jesse Spencer) has the Feilding suck-up quality. Cameron (Jennifer Morrison) has that Christine-like quality always believing the good in people. Foreman (Omar Epps) almost reminds me of the character of Judge Willard from "Night Court." He can be a real jerk. Wilson (Robert Sean Leonard) is more like Harry in demeanor and somewhat in personality. He's always House's voice of reason like Harry was to Dan. Dr. Cuddy (Lisa Edelstein)...I don't know who she's like.
In terms of content "House" is sort of like "Night Court" in that it deals with odd people and situations thanks to the interesting cases. Hugh Laurie is fantastic! It still blows my mind that he's Brittish. He speaks with the American accent so well in the show. He *is* "House". That show would not be the same without him. I didn't start watching "House" closely until season two. I didn't catch all the episodes in season two, but I started watchig reruns this summer. I got hooked instantly. I bought the season one DVD and finished all six discs in a weekend. I bought season two and have been re-watching some of those episodes. I love the extras to season 2. The blooper reel is funny. Do go and purchase the season one set. It is well worth it, so is season 2.
