Well, I had a huge crush on Sally (as Gidget) and later on Valerie (as Barbara).
Now I know why. They were/are both very cute, perky brunettes. Of course,
later Val became gorgeous. She still looks good (for past 40). Heck, Sally
still looks good--and she just turned 60!

Well, they don't really LOOK identical. But they are similar, mostly in their

That would be an interesting idea for a movie or TV show. I can see Sally as
Valerie's mother.

Valerie Bertinelli and Sally Field do look somewhat alike.

However, I think that Valerie Bertinelli looks more like Nia Peebles....the actress who played "Nicole" on the NBC show "Fame!" I think Nia was on the CBS soap "The Young and the Restless" recently.

Also, I've always thought that Heather Locklear, Sally Field, and Janet Jackson all kinda looked alike when they all were younger around the early 80's era. I think it's their cute chubby cheeks that the three have in common.
