Default Hate the Season 4 box art

Yuk. Was this the best they could do? The cartoon menu screens were bad enough the past two seasons and now the covers are being affected. I'm not really thrilled by the art direction in general up till now, but season 4 is a new low.

i agree, i think it looks pretty cheap, almost home-made (I know that I could've done a better job if given the chance )

I don't even know what they were going for. It isn't like this art style is even consistant with the show or anything.

While I agree with you all on the box art...

Really, when you think about it, isn't it what's INSIDE that really counts??? I mean, I look at the DVD's themselves more than I do the cover. I'd personally rather see them spend a little extra money on the menu screens and EXTRAS than I would the cover.

''I'd personally rather see them spend a little extra money on the menu screens''

yea and they should have. The menu screens have that same hideous cartoon "look" as the last couple seasons (were they trying to make Bob look like a South Park character?). Seems to me that someone got lazy and didn't want to dig through publicity photo's.... awful. I agree what's on the dvd itself is the "most important thing" but why can't we have both like every other dvd set?

honestly, unless they were going for the "cheap" look intentionally, this is something that anyone with a little experience could've put together in a couple of HOURS, and the menus really dont take that much work either.

I'm not saying that I wouldn't buy the set because they skimped out on the art for the box and menus, I'm just saying that it makes it LOOK like they didn't put as much effort into the set as they could have, and when its out there in the stores sitting on the shelf, if it doesn't LOOK right people may not be as eager to buy it.

^ Out of curiousity what's to like? This cartoon look (IMO) is unappealing and has nothing to do with the style or presentation of the show? Not sure why you would like one and not the other, to me they both look ridiculous.

A lot of the original TV Guides had drawings of the cast pitures for many different shows, TimsTVShowcase has a lot of them for many shows. That is what it reminds me of

Yeah but TV Guide had nothing to do with the actual show either, it's just another poor example of creating for creations sake, it doesn't seem relevant. All opinions though.

Do you have any idea on how to get in touch with TimsTVShowcase? I was looking at that site and found some dead links in another show's section.

Well said! I do like the cover art for the earlier seasons better, I must admit.
