Any theories what happened to her?
I don't know what to think about her disappearance, 1.She could have met foul Play. 2.She could be living on the streets, 3.She could have died by accident Overdosing on drugs and someone buried her. |

She sounds like she wasnt playing with a full deck and had severe emotional problems. I think she probably got into prostitution and died from there.

Yeah, I think that she suffered a drug induced psychotic break, as evidenced by the extreme paranoia she was exhibiting. They said she had been taking meth, which can cause permanent brain impairment. I think she could have died by suicide, or simply was killed in an overdose of some kind. Sad story for sure.

I felt so bad for her poor mother when at the end of the segment, she's talking to her daughter, telling her that she loves her.

I also wouldn;t rule out that she cleaned herself up and started a whole new life somewhere. She may not have wanted to contact her mother out of shame at how she wound up. Or maybe things weren;t that good between them to begin with. OT-Am i sick or am I the only one that got turned on by that caricature Star Drew of herself in the segment!

Very sad case.
I strongly believe that Star became a prostitute to support her drug habits. Her paranoia may have stemed from drug usage. IMO, she is most likely deceased. |

I think that for a period of time after UM profiled her case, she was probably still alive and had become addicted to drugs and/or caught up in the activities of some people of questionable character. However, more than a decade later, I think it's unlikely that she's still alive, but I really couldn't give a good, solid answer on which would be the most likely of the theories of death mentioned by other posters.

At some point, she could have changed identities. With her meth habit, it's almost certain that she would have been arrested if she survived. Has anyone thought of scouring the "Faces of Meth" website to see if she may have been arrested under an alias?!

All signs point to drugs. Everything about that segment points to drugs. Is anyone anything BUT paranoid when they claim the government is trying to kill them? Plus where she was living she wouldn't have a hard time finding them.

According to UM, Star became addicted to meth shortly before she disappeared. It's quite possible that she's still alive, prostituting somewhere, looking nothing like her former self because of her meth addiction.

I think it's possible that she may be alive somewhere, living on the streets or selling herself to support her habit. But I believe she is now deceased, probably at the hands of a pimp or from overdosing. Then again, she was looking to change her identity (more than likely from the drug induced paranoia) so there's also a possibility that she is living under a different identity.

I really hope she is still alive and got help for her mental state and her drug addiction. Meth can only lead to disfigurement and death amongst other things. Forgive me if I am having a blonde moment here, but why did she become hooked on meth in the first place?
