George wanted to bring a gun in the house to protect his family and Louise saying No and then George sneaks and buys it anyways and jessica gets a hold of it and pulls the trigger making George realize that it's dangerous to have a Gun in the House. We all know where the idea to do this episode came from

What shows if any, BEFORE Good Times, had a gun episode? Was Good Times the first?

What shows since Good Times and the Jeffersons have recycled this idea?

"Family Ties" had an episode where Steven was considering getting a gun. (I'm thinking the same thing too, guys - "HUH?!")

I just seen for the millionth time, the episode of Everybody Loves Raymond where Robert acts "ethnic"

...it made me think of Brother Tom...any other show have the same storyline or do The Jeffersons and Everybody Loves Raymond have the distinction of using this storyline?

BTW SOLOMON: Why only HALF your rent?????
