West Side Story is so overated, there are a lot better musicals than it. West Side Story really isn't even orignal. I used to really like it but than thinking about it is nothing special at all. Now a great one is Oklahoma. Grease really isn't that great either

WHOO HOO...AFI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! At last, a reputable source!!!!! LOL Brian.

Grease is on there!!!!!! YES!!!!! West Side Story is the up-dated version of Romeo and Juliet...it should be on this list. It shows that Romeo and Juliet can be conformed to any era.

I love CHICAGO. Awesome movie.

That's a pretty good list I guess. Rent should have been on there, but I knew it probably wouldn't be. Here's my top 3.

1. The Wizard of Oz
2. Rent
3. Grease

Thos are pretty much the only musicals I ever liked. LOL!!

I definitely think Rocky Horror and Little Shop of Horrors needed to be on there.

Glad Moulin Rouge! made the list. Singin' in the Rain is a good choice for #1 that movie is a classic.

It's wierd, but i never considered Wizard Of Oz a "musical."
I guess because it wasn't a stage musical before it was made into a movie, like "West Side Story."
