He's in a an upcoming movie called The Guardian. Him playing in a non-comedic role can't possibly work could it?
As for the movie, although its no Forrest Gump, it looks alot better than the parade of crappy movies that have been coming out the last few months. You have to admire him for doing it and being able to to do it so soon after That 70's Show. I wonder how he avoided the type casting thing. |

Ashton Kutcher was in "The Guardian" with Kevin Costner. I saw "The Guardian" this weekend and it was a good movie. Kutcher is also in another movie "Open Season" which is an animated movie.

The Butterfly Effect was such a cool movie, but I'm embarrassed that I didnt fully understand what was going on until I saw it a second time.

I think Kutcher would be great as a lead actor in an action movie. Especially since he started working out more intensely and developed a killer physique. I haven't seen the Guardian yet, but in the preview there is a shirtless scene of him and he looks unbelievable! With that handsome face, great height, and killer sexy bod - he would be great. Imagine him in a fight scene! Wouldn't you pay to watch him beat the crap out of Tom Cruise? I heard he was seriously considered for the role of Superman, that ultimately went to Brandon Routh.

Considering the roll of Superman? Man that sure would have been awesome if he got that one. Awe well maybe the sequal seeing as normally one actor doesn't stick around after that. I'd love to see Ashton fight in a movie, he kind of did in the movie you said, I loved it. He did such an astoundting job of acting in it and I agree he was just drop dead gorgeous course I'd say when isn't he? Ask for how avoided type-casting, well he's been doing great so far in movies and has an awesome body and well yah get the rest.
