Default Tom & the $15K he lost...

I don't know why, maybe I am getting mixed up with another show, but for some reason I expected to see George being told how much $$$$ it cost him to set up the con to get the money back that Tom lost...seeing them leave in the cadillac and the episode ending like that made me wonder, wasn't there a tag scene where George found out how much he spent????

It was probably edited out. The edits that TVLand has done have been painfully obvious. The unnecessary fades, the laugh tracks being cut... They've done a really messy job.

True. But people like me and those who watched it on CBS can remember some of the stuff that is missing, edited, cut out, etc....

You are probably right because the season 5 eps they showed, they did not show any of the tags. So I guess i have to wait until the DVD comes out or ask someone on the trading Board to send me every CBS ep of the Jeffersons from 1975 to 1985-lol

When they got back George was sitting at his desk calculating the bill. Louise told George that it wouldn't been easier to pay off Tom. Then George said that he saved a few dollars. But then he forgot abut the money he owed Florence and that put him over by a few dollars.

I've saw this show when it come on CBS, and I've seen it a few times in syndication before they started with all this editing.
