Is it just me or did the episodes that aired in the 80's seem less racially charged than the episodes from the 70's? Although I think that the 80's had some of the most hilarious moments of the show, it seemed to be less groundbreaking later on.

The 80's episodes are still good, but they defintely felt different as I watched today. No Lionel and Jenny, no Bentley, the show felt "empty", and George and Tom became friends. It just felt weird.
