So I got hit by a truck... - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

Some of you may already know about it, some may not, so let me walk you through what happend.

I was jogging across the street to tell my cheerleading coach not to worry about me, that I was riding with my father that night and then out of no-freakin-where some idiot hits me. I remember feeling the hood of the car on my skin, but I don't remember seeing anything. I woke up on the ground with 25451378 people around me. (all the cheerleaders, danceline, and band saw it. They're all tramatized.) Then I was rushed to the trama center and they sent me home a few hours later.
The man who hit me was about 50 and was driving a Ford truck, according to my dad. It took about 5 coaches to pull my dad off the guy that hit me. I've gotten countless phone calls, flowers, cards, etc. I'm truely blessed that there was no internal bleeding, and that I left with some really bad brusing on my legs, pelvis, and ass; along with some road rash. (that rymed *giggle*) I'll try and be on at least once a day, but I can't really sit up without feeling dizy. Plus it's hell to walk anywhere. >_<

I'm afraid to post pictures of my wounds, because they are really gross. So I guess if you want to see them, PM me..

Don't worry about me. I'll be the same old courtnee in a week or 2!

Goodness... I'm sorry you've been through such a terrible ordeal!!! I'm glad none of your injuries are gravely serious and I wish you a swift and complete recovery...

does it make me sound concided or self-absorbed if I think one of my friends should be more sad over me than steve irrwin? She freakin' cryed over him and when she called me saturday, she was like, "yeah, this is no big deal because I've had a bunch of people hit by cars before"

Getting hit by a car isnt not a big deal. My cousin got hit by a car and luckily was okay. Someone I went to school with got hit by a car and lost an eye. So I would be more concerned over a friend than a celebrity.
