Why the hell did George and Weezy take their maid to HAWAII????? Wasn't that supposed to be a romantic trip for them. Florence was supposed to get her ass home-lol

Louise bought the ticket for Florence as a present before she knew that she and George were going. Florence was initially supposed to be going alone.

Where does it say they can't have friends/relatives with them? It's not like they shared a bed or room. Besides, George wasn't going on the trip for romantic reasons, he lied to Louise.

See Solomon, now that is a better way to put it. You initially made it sound like because she was a maid, she couldn't go. Now that you put it that way, I can see your point. I think George, deep down, he cared for her, why else would he put up with her?
