My hubby just bought "Volume 1", and this looks alot like those dumb 1960's Japanese Godzilla movies. Poorly dubbed.
Also, has anybody noticed (if anybody else bought this DVD set) that the English subtitles are screwed up on it? The subtitles don't even match the poorly dubbed English language dialog.

I bought it, but only watched the first episode. I agree, it's pretty bad, but then again, so is the show (in a good cheesy way). I can see where the Power Rangers got their inspiration from. lol

It is foolish, but I with they did a better job on the DVD.
I like those goofy Japanese Godzilla movies too. Adamantium: Did you know that Japan made these shows as propaganda tool against the Chinese? It was a big fear for japanese residents that Communist China would invade Japan back in the 1950's and 1960's (due to the Korean and Vietnam wars at that time), so these silly shows were used as a patriotic tool for the Japanese population back then. I just wanted to give a little trivia for you.
