I always thought it was strange they had a bathroom by the entrance door. I have never seen an apartment where a bathroom is in that area.

Yep, 4 is what they had. I have seen bathrooms by entry doors in a lot of homes and apts.

They have 4 bathrooms? I only count 3. The one at the entrance, the one in George and Louise's room, and the one in Florence's room. Is there one in Lionel's (or the guest) bedroom or something? I do not ever remember it being mentioned. I guess I am not that suprised because a deluxe apartment in the sky like that should have a bathroom for each bedroom.

It wasn't stated on the Jeffersons that they had 4 bathrooms, it was mentioned on the Jeffersons Pilot when George flushed 4 times which was a All in The Family Episode.

I've never seen a bathroom by an entrance door in a house or apt. The only thing I've seen by the entrance door when I walk into a house or apt is a closet to hang up coats and store the vacuum cleaner. Who knows, maybe it's a regional thing.
