Default Best dramatic acting moments

I'd have to say one of the best moments, was the exchange between Willona and Penny's real mother in the episode "A Matter of Mothers".

Another one I like is in the episode "JJ's New Career" where Florida says "JJ get the hell out of my house!", Esther Rolle delivered the line perfectly.

And last but not least, the "DAMN, DAMN, DAMN!" scene in the second part of "The Big Move".

What can I add? Those are the best ones.

James, when he tells Clarissa's father off..."forgetting where you came from BROTHER!" and also when James tells J.J. that home is the one place you don't run from nobody.

In "The Windfall", I liked when James said, "Well I'm tired of gettin' by, I wanna get OVER for a change!!".

James: I can't remember word for word but the one where he says poor is the last thing people want to be, above sick and dead.

Yeah, I loved that one too, from your favorite episode Irene, the Alaska Job. You got the quote just about right.

The Big Move is perhaps the best dramatic performance for Esther Rolle.

I would say when J.J and Diane wanted to get married and James and Florida and Diane's parents were against it. J.J stood up to James and told him were getting married anyway, That scared me a little cause i thought James was going to knock him down for real. lol

How could anyone forget Thelma''s screaming "They all laughing and it seem like they're having a ball out there!"(When she was upset that Florida was laughing after James funeral). Then she said in a quiet, heartbreaking tone, "Daddy is dead." That pulled on my heartstrings................ She was all teary eyed and sounded so sad when she said "daddy is dead" Good dramtic acting right there........................

That's one of my favorite GT episodes as well. Bern Nadette Stanis and Ben Powers gave their most powerful performances in that one.
