We are in the process of moving to Ravenswood, West Virginia. We will be
leaving St. Charles, Missouri on the 7th. I will change my location on my profile at that point. That is all until I am relocated. |

Good luck with the move. I hate moving. One of life's necessary evils.
Be sure to check in when you're all settled.

I would love to move. I have been living in the same town since January 30, 1985. And though I will always have a special place in my heart for this town, it is time to move on.

Oh well, I'll be able to move in the next year or two, I think. I can't wait.

My parents are now living in their new condo.
I've been helping them with the move the past few days. the moving company was very efficient; they had the house cleaned out in about two hours! My parents are both exhausted. They've spent the last two weeks packing and shuttling most of thier non furniture items to the new place, and they now have dozens of boxes in thier new garage to sort through. But they are happy. They now live about a mile away from my sister's house, which is great for them since they babysit my sister's daughter a few times a week. I'm going back to NYC this afternoon so i won't be around for the final cleanup at the old house this weekend. i'm sure Mom and sis will be sad about leaving the old neighborhood behind. |

Good luck with your move. We moved in 2003, in the winter. It's trying both physically, and emotionally. However...I've found that the anticipation of being in a new place is more than enough to offset the unpleasant task of moving. I think in some ways--well it was for me anyway, it was just the logistics of moving--all the things one has to do--that makes it stressful. I wish you the best, and get back online as soon as you can. Take care.
