Well after 6 months of owning Adam 12 season 1, I finally really got into watching episodes this past weekend.....I had did fast quality checks on the discs when I read in other threads people were having problems......on my Phillips player, disc two freezes up on several episodes, yet the same episodes play somewhat better (less freezing) on my Zenith player....I don't have the original receit from 6 months ago but would really like to contact Universal with this problem, they should be forced to make good on this, this type of product releasing is a disgrace! Can anyone provide a phone number or address for Universal DVD consumer relations please......thanks in advance

--------------------------------------------------------- Try this Site for info. If you have the double sided discs, you have a real problem. They have replaced a ton of them that were produced in Mexico. Good Luck with Universal. Mike http://corpinfo.universalstudios.com...asp?section=HV |

The problem may very well be your dvd players and not the discs themselves. Unfortunately, Both Phillips and Zenith make some of crappiest dvd players on the market. I suggest trying them in another brand and see what happens

Here's a copy of what they said to me (in an email) and their email address. I did receive a letter with my new DVD's. It said something along the line that the new ones had been tested and work. If I have any further problems, please contact the DVD player company. What hacked me off a bit was that they know they have a problem. I had to pay $5 to have it shipped (you don't get a refund or a coupon toward another purchase) to them and be able to trace it. I think it would have been smart for them to at least say they were sorry...consequently, I have not bought any more Universal products. Good Luck... ![]() USHE.ConsumerRelations@worldmarkinc.com Your e-mail has been forwarded to this department for reply. I also meant to mention that I played it on a Phillips, Sony and the DVD player in my SUV (not sure what it is), and it did the same thing on all brands. But as suggested, you might try the DVD's on other brands just to see if by chance, it is the player not the DVD's.
It is a hassle to deal with this, and I thought their letter was a bit on the smarmy side. |
