to everyone who i talked to about trades,
if you are, i guess, to put it in your way, suspicious of me,
I will offer you this:

if wanting to trade, write in the forum room and everything but mailing addys will be done in the forum room.
i will send out first,then you.
If you have a problem with the quality, it will be discussed and fixed.
but i kind of doubt will be problems.

and for the rest of you, discuss the trade in the forum room and send at same time- or work something out.

i dont think the problem with your posts is who sends first GS

as a new member u r expected to send first

u mentioned that u have been on other sites for years--- MAYBE if u let people know who u r and what handle u use on the other sites, people can check u out before hand--- many members of this site are active on the others and im sure at least 1 person here can look u up elsewhere

i think the problem is this

savage, myself, loren, others apparently
have all contacted u and tried to set up stuff
and so far it seems like noone is able to work anything out at all with you

u post a list--- but then when people ask about the stuff, u tell them its not ready to trade--- so how about this--- instead of posting the same things over and over with the same list---- take a few days off the board, organize your list into a useful one that lists ONLY things that you are able to trade-- and then add how many eps u have, how many discs, and what the quality is

then if someone asks to trade, respond to them

also, attacking or insulting the moderator or her site, is also not a good way to start off and it turns people off

traders can be suspicious sometimes, because weve all gotten burned before, and when you handle things the way u have so far, it does not help your case

i know of at least 5 people who have tried to set up trades and zilch has come of it, so maybe u need to rethink what u have before u go forward

just a helpful hint from your old uncle lamont

It doesn't appear that you've got many trades going on, from what others are posting here. BUT...FYI, please don't discuss the details here. Details such as exactly what is to be traded, method of shipping, etc should be discussed in private mail or email.

something smells like old fish here

it also seems that certain items were removed from the current list

one set in particular was removed, it seems after some discussion about its normaly a scammer who tries to list it for trade

im no longer interested in anything to do with thisi mess

i contavted the person 4 times and zero reply

far too many red flags jumping up and down for me to get involved

i hope detective-lord-savage sniffs this one out

I hope she's legit, I've already sent my stuff off. She seemed sincere enough.

I googled and and yahoo'd the address and nothing suspect came up.

and they just may be legit

but between lamont and myself, we have contacted this person 9 times, and no answer, and yes i did via email from two different addresses,and also by pm

and with over 20 000 total discs between us, on lists to offer

now combine that with some other things......

something hits me veryyyyyy wrong here

You're right. People are afraid of retaliation. Some sellers tell you upfront that they will not leave feedback until the buyer does it for them. That says everything.

look.
first off. i am not a bad guy.
i am getting all this bs thrown at me.
i redid my website and get blame.
things were removed because they were on vhs.
not tradeable.
second, greg shouldnt have ebay searched me- what happened to some privacy.
because i am new and didnt want to trade with someone we know, doesnt mean to bash me.
i sent a trade out and that person will hopefully help me in showing that you just dont jump on someone new.
its rude.
if i dont feel like trading with someone, i dont have too.
i didnt feel like trading with that someone. he scared me in the first responce also. so i didnt respond back.
now- i am getting all this bs.
i tried to be nice. granted i did not answer a few emails.
but because i did not see a trade potential.
you guys have invaded my privacy and made bs of me.
without getting to try me out first.
you were scammed by someone else- oh so that means i scammed you.
i have explained myself fully and am really pissed here.
you guys have violated me.
i didnt look to get the dirt from you guys. and you guys are new to me.
i dont know who i am dealing with.
but one thing i know is you guys are jumping rude to new people.
