Leah Remini: 'Leave Tom and Katie Alone' - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

HOLLYWOOD - Actress Leah Remini has launched another attack on nosy people desperate to see what her pal Tom Cruise's baby daughter looks like.
The TV star was one of the first people to see the baby and can completely understand why her fellow Scientologist is refusing to release photos of his newborn.

Remini can't comprehend why there is such a public frenzy to see the photos--as gossips insist little Suri Cruise isn't normal.

The actress rants, "It's a normal baby, it's a beautiful baby... She's a very well-loved and protected baby. She's with normal people. That's why I don't understand the craziness.

"She c**ps in her diaper, she pees in her diaper, she sleeps, she wakes up every couple of hours--this is what babies do. There's nothing abnormal about Suri.

"I think it's really scary. I have acquaintances who'll say, 'Why don't they show the baby?' Y'know, it's their baby.

"Unless you've been in a situation with these paparazzi...you don't really understand how protective you are of that baby that you made."

The media is really sickening when it comes to this. Back the hell off of them!! If they don't wanna release photos, so be it.

I know, how many celebs "sell" pics of their kids? As far as the baby is concerned, leave her be...she can't help it if her dad is an idiot and bashes women for having PPD and taking meds to deal with it.

I'd say the interest in the baby. Leah did nothing wrong. She simply defended her friends, good for her.

I don't see the big interest in what Leah said. I know it is mentioned here on this board, but it is not being played to death on television or magazines like the TOM AND KATIE stories. I don't call it a rant either. I call it defending the life of an innocent baby who didn't ask for all of this publicity...nor can the baby help the fact that her dad is a friggin' moron.

Exactly. This isn't major nationwide news. And even if it was, so what. Just because Tom is a moron, doesn't mean Leah is for defending a baby.

Thank you. Leah rarely speaks out like this and when she does it's called a "rant"? I would love to have Leah as a friend, defending my family, even if my guy were a couch-jumping, PPD bashing moron.

I don't sweat nobody! If they want to keep there baby private then good for them, that's there porogative! Every time you turn on the TV, it's Tom this and Katie this !! Sickening!! Serously!!!
