Mrs.Jefferson: Do you know who he has been hitting on?

George:Man,you are sick!Hitting on my mom!

That was hilarious. Hey, add this to that thread abt tv funniest moments...it had me even though I have seen this episode countless times, it still is funny.

One thing that gets me abt this episode is how Weezie didn't speak up IMMEDIATELY to George's best friend after what he did. I certainly would not have allowed any man to kiss me for that length of time and then, sit right next to him on the couch!!!!!

Wouldn't have been better for LIONEL to catch George's best friend instead of MotherJefferson? That scene with her hitting him with the umbrella is so corny

Then we wouldn't have that ROTFLMAO moment when George made that funny ass statement!!!!

Besides, how was it corny? Because she was old and wasn't hitting him hard? God Solomon, give the old lady a break. She also probably didn't want to hurt Louis by really giving him all she had.

So, are you saying you would have liked to have seen her whack the s**t outta him???? I will be honest and say "YES!!!", he deserved it for treating Louise and his best friend's wife like that.

Why George didn't go after him and actually hit him I will never know...

George knew he wasn't going to be able to kick his ass so that's why he just threw him out-.lol If you notice he didn't take off his suit jacket like he did when he was going after train

A good kick in the n**ts would have been enough to hurt him.

Would you let a man get away for doing to your wife what Louis Gosset Jr.'s character did to Louise?

Mother Jefferson wasn't afraid of him.

He may have been too big for George, but he was backing off like he wasn't going to fight him.
