Slater and Ryder Reunite for 'Heathers' Sequel - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

HOLLYWOOD - Christian Slater and Winona Ryder are re-teaming for a sequel to cult film Heathers.
Ryder has signed on for the project, as well as Slater, despite the fact he dies in the first film.

Slater played bad boy Jason 'J.D.' Dean in the movie where he helps Ryder take revenge on a group of popular girls--all named Heather.

Ryder tells Entertainment Weekly, "I don't know how much is official; it's a way away.

"But it takes place in Washington and Christian Slater agreed to come back and make an Obi-Wan-type appearance. It's very funny."

Slater is currently working with Heathers writer Daniel Waters on the film Sex and Death 101.

Waters has already agreed write the sequel and may also direct the film.

I'm interested to see what they come up with, but I don't think it could ever be as good as the original.

Oh, I love Heathers... one of my favorite teen films of all time! I would be interested to see what type of movie this will be, if it will involve the characters lives as adults or perhaps the lives of their children?
