'Dancing with the Stars' Broke Up Barkers - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

HOLLYWOOD - Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker and wife Shanna Moakler decided to end their marriage because she agreed to become a contestant on Dancing with the Stars.
The couple announced they were separating earlier this month, amid rumors the former Miss USA was unfaithful during their marriage.

However, a source close to Moakler tells Us Weekly magazine her participation in the show was the real reason behind the split, saying, "When he found out, he flipped and told her he wanted a wife, not a Hollywood socialite."

Barker posted a rant on his MySpace Web page on Aug. 14, claiming he first heard about his wife's new gig from his real estate agent.

The couple starred in the MTV reality show Meet the Barkers and have three children together, Atiana, 7, Landon, 2 and Alabama, eight months.

Moakler has slammed reports she was unfaithful during their marriage and tells the magazine, "I'm seriously concerned for his mental well-being.

"Perhaps the lifestyle that he leads is taking its toll. For the sake of our children I hope he seeks help."

First he claims she cheated, then he slams her for "only working 7 days out of 3 years", now this...what an ass...I am really starting to hate men, for a lot of reasons...I think he is taking drugs and it is causing paranoia.

Not for nothing Trav, but if you have to find out what your wife is doing in her life through your real estate agent, you really haven't been working that much on the marriage..

I know. I think passing on info as if it is true is so typical of Barker...but he is a man, so what can you do.
