swedeace Member Forum Fanatic Join Date: Sep 22, 2003 Posts: 9,009	Advice: Newbie Socializing Tips I have just begun writing online with this girl in my city, and she seems pretty cool and like someone I would like to befriend. Her husband also sounds pretty cool. I would like to try and invite them to a socializing outting sometime soon. I was wondering if anyone had any tips as to how to approach this without sounding "weird" or "creepy?" I realize it may sound simple, but I am concerned about the wording and whatnot. I thought of bringing up swing dancing (if they like dancing), but then the couples would be an odd number. They have each other, and I wouldn't have a partner. I don't even wanna ask a male co-worker friend because he's got a girlfriend, so that's a no-go. Other than that, I don't have very many male friends to begin with. Any tips? Suggestions?
