If Whitley was going to be Jealous of the Girl she hooked Dwayne up with, the - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

producers should have CAST a woman that was more on Jasmine Guy's Level Physically. From looking at the girl Meagan right now, she is no where as pretty as Whitley. Having a prettier woman would have made Whitley's jealousy make more sense.

A woman like Whitley was jealous because Whitley realized she really likes Dwayne...she was in denial, until she set her up with Dwayne. It has nothing to do with the girl being on her "level".

The producers can't match up actors/actresses to be on some "level"...they try to work with reality.

But, from a woman (Whitley was a woman) you need to understand. Jealousy can come along when a woman really likes/loves a man. She may let the green monster get the best of her, regardless of how beautiful she may be, no matter how well she feels abt herself, etc.

I guess I was going by how excited dwayne was when he found who whitley hooked him up with-lol He was like-"YOU HOOKED ME UP WITH MEAGAN???? I was like Damm Meagan is probably going to look GOOOOD!!!-lol

I always say, Just because you find someone attractive doesn't mean someone else will. And like Irene said, with Whitley it wasn't about how great Meagan looked, Whitley would have been jealousy if Meagan looked like booboo the fool, it's the fact that another woman had Dwayne's attention.

I am a man, and I honestly have no idea why you [TVResearcher] are always hung up on how someone looks. Looks have nothing to do with good writing or acting. I couldn't imagine watching tv and having to make a comment about how everyone appears physically. Do you even take time to watch the shows?

Exactly. Thank you for clarifying that for me Brie. I mean, Solomon, you are so into how one looks...LOOKS FADE...Beauty on the inside remains. I have known some damn good looking people, and they have had the worst personalities, the worst smarts, they are crass, negative, boring, etc. What good is looks if the inside is crap? BRAINS AND PERSONALITY, a great look on life, the world, a great sense of humor, someone who has a great head on their shoulders overall is a wonderful thing to have. A great career and a motivated person are unique qualities for one to possess. All the boobs and skinny bodies don't mean squat.

I think Solomon still has some growing to do, Even though he's in his 30's doesn't mean that he's all that mature yet.

My mom's friend husband was a fine ass man, and then one day two years ago, he was in a car accident and he was burned all over his body. And his wife still stayed with him, she didn't marry him for his looks, she married him because of what kind of person he was. Like Irene said, looks fade, you can't depend of looks all the time, you have to look deeper.

I agree with you.

For better OR WORSE...those are the vows one takes when they fall in love and get married. Even if you don't marry and are in love with someone, their looks shouldn't matter. God forbid something terrible should happen to them (as you so pointed out Brie)...or they gain weight, or they come down with some terrible disease. LOVE IS FOREVER...Looks are NOT. How would you like it Solomon if you found a great lady that fit all your silly expectations and one day you became so sick with a disease that caused you to gain 175 pounds? Or you were in an accident that left you badly scarred on your face? Or your "manhood" was changed forever...and your lady "dumped your ass" because of it? It would hurt like hell.
