Weddings and Christmas?
Did Bill Cosby have something against weddings and holidays? I was thinking that wedding-centered episodes of sitcoms have always been a big deal, but on The Cosby Show- all of a sudden Sondra and Elvin went from engaged to married without mention of a wedding. Also, Denise got married in Africa and we saw no wedding (although I think that her getting married in secret and showing up with a husband and a child did add to the confusion that is Denise).
There was an episode where Cliff was trying to put up Christmas lights outside- but they didn't even have a tree inside! There were no decorations inside whatsoever, and no mention of gifts. They seemed to focus more on Halloween (they had two episodes that were completely centered around it), and the Thanksgiving episode which is my favorite episode of The Cosby Show. Just a thought... |

I wonder why it wasn't Christmas eps too. Especially since they had 2 kids under 14 during Christmas of 84 and 85
