Didn't know Kate & Allie had a spinoff called Roxie in 1987
I stumbled across this info the other day in my TV Book. That spinoff was a ONE MONTH wonder-lol

Andrea Martin's character was named Eddie Gordon in two episodes of Kate & Allie in 1986. Her name was Roxie Brinkerhoff in the spinoff. I guess they didn't want to name the show Eddie.
Take Five, which aired after Roxie, was also canceled after only two weeks on the air. CBS didn't give them much of a chance.
