They were both equally racist, only George had slightly higher intelligence than Archie. I don't think either one of them was any less of a racist than the other one.
But neither one of them was evil...just ignorant.

And, I think George was prejudiced towards Puerto Ricans, or at least his brother was (he and Archie signed a petition to get them out of the neighborhood). But I'm guessing George was, too.

I would say they were equally racist, but I found Archie to be much more likable than George...perhaps it's because I'm a bigger fan of AITF than I am of the Jeffersons.

Yeah I'm not sure about George because he was never seen on AITF or the Jeffersons insulting Puerto Ricans

Default i would say

that BOTH were equally bigoted BUT for different reasons

ARCHIE was bigoted out of Fear and ignorance,
he just didnt know any better and wasnt too well informed

GEORGE was bigoted out a reaction to the prejudice against him

he was a lot smarter than george, and his prejudice was a reaction to all the bigotry that he had to deal with from others

so id say george was the "less bigoted" of the 2, if only b/c he had a legit reason for his feelings

Archie did not have tools-- intelligence, education, sociability-- to overcome his prejudices, which were were not only deep-rooted, but forced into him by threats and beatings. As for George, we don't know, but can easily surmise, about his background, and he thinks more in terms "getting back;" and because he is now making it financially, it's his turn to look down his nose at "whitey," and hispanics should wait in line behind him to get theirs. In summary, Archie is prejudiced based on ignorance he can't overcome, while George is being deliberately spiteful and thinks he is justified.
