Default Did Lionel deserved to be slapped by Louise?

In episode, "Lionel, the Playboy", Weezy slapped Lionel because he was being arrogant and had a don't care attitude. Weezy didn't want to do it, but Lionel deserved it, even though he was a grown man, he acted like he was 10 years younger. He also deserved to be slapped in "Lionel Cries Uncle" because he disrespected Weezy's uncle, George did too.

If not a slap a good kick in the ass. His arrogance and "i don't care attitude" was bad enough. But to say your father is uneducated in so many words, is totally disrespecting your parent. I dont' know that I could have slapped my child, but WHACKED HIS ASS FOR SURE!

Yeah, I think what made her slap him was that when he said how uneducated George was.

I also think he deserved it, especially for putting down his father by saying that he had no brains. Lionel was acting the fool in that episode.

Good question. Being a mom, I can tell you. No matter what, hitting one's child doesn't come easy...it breaks our hearts to lay our hands on our kids, even though we are trying to instill in them something good...letting them know they can't get away with such stuff. I have never slapped any of my children, but I have spanked them when they were very young. I have never had to slap my child for saying such stupid stuff, such as Lionel, but believe me, you don't disrespect your parent, especially a hard-working man who only wants the best for his family.
I feel bad after spanking my son. It hurts to see him cry.
