Oh No Have You Noticed This About James?

Have you noticed how he jumps all over JJ when he and Thelma or Michael get into it, and says nothing to Thelma or Michael? Sometimes Thelma starts the fight, but JJ gets the blame and James always has something negative to say to him.

Yep. Thelma was a big instigator in some of those fights, but i guess because she was James' "babygirl" she could do no wrong!

Florida on the other hand would scream, "THELMA!!" on some occasions. GOOD FOR HER!!!!

Thelma was a daddy's girl. This post reminded of a thread on the TVland message board. Somebody over there posted a topic saying "Florida was an overweight crabby woman" They also stated that she seemed jealous of Thelma because she was a daddy's girl and posted that there were a million of woman in Chicago could have had any woman he wanted, but he chosed Florida instead.

I never liked the way James treated J.J. He treated him like a piece of poo.

Well, J.J. acted stupid all the time. You're going to get treated like sh*it when you act like sh*it.

But there were times when James would just yell at him when he himself (James) was angry at something else. That is the times that irritated me.

You have a point. His attitude irritated me in the hypertension episode.

That one sticks out in my mind. He was so damn angry and taking it out on everyone...and poor JJ was made to swallow those aspirin...

I agree there were plenty of moments when JJ deserved a good long stare from James or some words from him, but the irritation James showed towards him at times was unjustifiable.

Exactly. Those were the times I hated too. He never yelled at Michael or Thelma......never even gave them the "stare". Poor JJ got all the blame and stares.

Default It's wasn't just JJ he got on

Yes, he may have been down and dirty with J.J., but poor Michael got his unfair treatment from James as well.

Whenever Michael said something or trying to get his opinions across even if they were right and justifiable, James was always threatening him with a belt! Jeez, as keith would have said "I'm the victim here and everyone's picking on poor misguided J.J."

Michael got his stares from james too. I love when he was being told to go to bed and Michael was like-"aw come on daddy I want to watch the wolfman" and James said-"If you don;t go to bed you will be watching the belt man"

LOL

Another Good Example of James treating J.J differently
was when he go the job to Alaska and they were asking him where so Thelma asked was it in a certain state and james said no, then Michael said is it in Seattle Washington and James said no but you are getting close, and then J.J ask was it somewhere and he just threw him out the apt-lol-LOL

I bet if we counted all the times he got on Michael and JJ, the amount of times he got on JJ's case would add up WAY MORE than the times he did with Michael. However, since TVLand edits out a lot of stuff, who knows how much is missing.
