I read in a recent article on George Peppard that during the A-Teams hey-day that he actually DESPISED Mr. T. George Peppard thought his character Hannibal should have been bigger than Mr. T. Peppard, being an older actor, was re-introduced to a younger generation. But, the fans caught on to Mr. T because he was unique & different. Peppard HATED this & refused to talk or associate with Mr. T during rehearsal breaks, and instead he passed notes between himself & Mr. T thru Dirk Benedict (Face). Hard to believe considering their on-screen partnership, huh?? I guess that's why it's called ACTING!!

Yeah, I heard that Peppard and Mr. T didn't get along very well. It certainly didn't show onscreen though.

I never heard about him being jealous of Mr. T but I do remember that their was a time during the 4th season that the 2 of them weren't talking except on the show. Mr. T got a bad attitude while filming the 2 hour season premiere. That was the episode where they were on the boat. Tempers flew up and Mr. T was fired for a short time before cooler heads prevailed. George Peppard and Mr. T wouldn't speak to each other for awhile after that but they later made up. I have an article in a tv guide from the fifth season were they say it's like any family, sometimes fights happen. But they seemed to be joking about it then.

Yeah, I read that, too that Peppard didn't like Melinda Culea either. And he actually had something to do with her getting bumped from the show. Sounds like he was hard to work with.

Yea I remember when she got fired. She blamed him. She said she got along with everybody but George Preppard.

Wow that is shocking i saw on u tube on some A Team renion hosted by some dude who voice sounded like he hosted lifestyles of rich n famous lol.
Mr-T said Hannibell was alwyas jealous of him cause fans liked Mrt charactor Ba Baracus better then him.when fans sawhim walking around they go by george and ask hannibell wheres Mrt.lol
