From ESPN news. Not having changed in thousands of years in Japan, sumo wrestling gets a new twist. Hoping to gain a larger audience, Sumorama Japan, Inc. announced today that it will compete with traditional sumo wrestling by having its sumos fight each other by swinging young boys into the groin of his opponent, head first. This will require each wrestler to wear a specially padded mawashi (traditional sumo diaper) as added protection to the family jewels. The Japanese Pediatric Association has lobbied against Somorama's new sport as being dangerous to children (duh!).
