Default directv nfl package

i saw an add this am for the payper viiew nfl lackage

the interesting thing is they will offer 30 minute games this year for every game

so on wednesday nite, whne theres nothing to do

you can watch every play for any game in 30 minutes

they edit out all the crap

reviews, tv time outs, injury stops, etc etc

i tivo the packers game every week, and watch it later in the day

that way i can cruise the game in about an hour

but this 30 minute thing sounds great for a football aholic

whom ever will do the pay package, this looks like a natural for a dvd job

you could get every play from every game in that week, on 2 dvds easily

since there are 14-16 games a week

so 7-8 hours total

with very little editing as well, since the games will be edited already

sollomon

the directv channel 212 is the nfl channel

its not pay per view

its like sports center all the time , but only football

they had the preseason scrimages on all week

unreal coverage of the camps

a dream to have

i had the sunday ticket for about 6 years

back when direct tv was free

its adictive

they now have a feature to watch 8 games on the screen at once

that way you can choose what action to watch at that time

say dallas is at the 20 and driving in, well you choose that game and it goes full screen

after the eagles knock to out and grab the fumble, then go back to 8 games and pick the next best action

i dont do fantasy, but if a fella, this is the stuff

i guess i dont understand why directv is not avaible for you??

its no more than cable per month

and much better picture

and we can record 4 different shows at once if we choose,a nd watch 2 others at once if we choose

both units have 250 gig hard drives

Oh I do have the NFL Network but I'm not a huge fan of the channel.

When the guys from directv came to install the dish, they told me they could not hook it up because the Tall Building across the street was blocking the Directv signal

well that sure sucks out loud

i have been getting directv for about 9 years now

i tried the charter high def cable and that was nasty as far as quality and cost

i can get fiber optic cable now, but they dont have recorders avaible as of yet, probably in a couple months

and ill probably switch to the fiber cable, they have goodlife network

but were so used to the 4 directv tivos, we couldnt function without them
