Every summer it's the same thing from that team. They are always over hyped. I had ESPN on yesterday and they were saying the one team you better watch out for is The Eagles-the team noboby's talking about.

That's because a lot of the staff at ESPN are from the Phila/NJ/DE area

Hey i agree with you guys but don't count the eagles out remember mcnabb led this team to a couple of NFC championship games without T.O. and plus they got a pretty good D' even though mcnabb has no weapons except for westbrook but for westbrook to be a weapon u have to actually use him!!!
I think they should've tryed to get javon walker before letting him go to denver, or even keyshawn or even eric moulds they're wway better than todd STINKSTON! but i think the eagles are going to be better than last year.but superbowl hell no!!

The division's a lot stronger than it was 2 years ago...in fact the whole NFC is a better conference now. Back then it was Just Philadelphia and Atlanta. You actually had two 8-8 teams in the playoffs. The Eagles wouldn't have gotten to the SB if they were in the AFC.

I agree with you. The NFC is going to finally be better this year. Also, don't leave out the Rams from 1999-2001. From about 1998-2004 all it was, was Atlanta, Rams, & Eagles football. Now with Eli in Big Blue, Dallas in contention, & Washington's off-season aquisitions, there is a 3-way run for the division title. Philly will end up on the outside looking in, i think. They had their run from '01-'04. And really that's 1 more year than the usual 3-year window of opportunity, because the conference was so weak at that time, is all.

I think the Colts had their chance last year and choked (as usual) down the stretch. It's one thing to have 1 superstar player on a junk team & not make it, but, to have superstar/skill players at almost every position every year & not make it, it's just not meant to be. And especially since Edge is gone- that'll hurt in the long run. I think Indy is going to take a step backwards this year.
