Default Are we all in agreement that Rudy was much better than Oliva because

Rudy acted like a LITTLE GIRL and Oliva always TRIED to act like an ADULT? That's why I never liked the Oliva Character. Rudy was more realistic. Oliva was ODD

Amen!!!!! I never knew ANY four year old back then who said the **** she said. Her cuteness was forced but Rudy's were more innocent and natural.

If I would have said that ****, I would have been holding an ice pack to my mouth. Like I said on the FM forum, smart ass kids are NEVER funny, I don't care how cute they are.

BTW: Is it just me or did Olivia dressed like a circus performer?

Olivia and her POOFY OUTFITS...she looked like a balloon in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade...

I will be blunt here, I couldn't stand the little B***tch!!!!!! I hated her character with a passion. I didn't see her as a kid, I saw her as a young adult...I loved this show, yet hated so many characters on it...how can that be???? Don't get me started on Claire and how whupped Cliff was.

Not for a character that in my eyes, acted like an adult. I saw her as an adult midget, not a child at all. Rudy, was a child. We saw her growing up, a normal child.

Yes!! I couldn't stand Olivia mugging for the cameras.. her acting hasn't improved over time. I can't stand her show on Disney, always screaming her lines out and that "Oh snap" crap she yells out every five seconds.

She reminded me of a Little Miss beauty pageant contestant... anyhoo, yes there was so many characters I didn't like (Pam, Elvin, Olivia, Martin etc.) but I was with you until you said Claire, yeah she was a nag but... oh hell, she did get on my nerves at some point but I overlooked it because she was so beautiful.

Oh, I will give Phylicia thumbs waaaay up for her beauty. The character of CLAIRE, well, let's just say I am not too fond of how she was.

I liked Olivia better. In the last few seasons, she became the constant (aside from Cliff and Clair) in the midst of a whirlwind of casting changes. Until I started coming to this site, I had no idea that so many people disliked her. Also, Keshia's acting was terrible once she grew older.

A lot of people here also don't care for how the character of Claire was either. I had no idea how much until I made a thread abt it a long while back. Even my friends when I brought it up during a discussion, they stated the same negativity towards the character of Claire, and also Olivia and a few other characters. Yet, I love this show.

Now, I didn't like Clair. She became completely overbearing during the second half of the show's run. But, aside from the Clair character- I am always happy to see her [Phylicia], and I love Debbie Allen!

I agree, ALL the kids acting has gotten worse over the eight year run. It was like they were just reading from the script like they would if they were asked to read a novel in class, no zest, no nothing.

It was a little painful to watch all five kids act as they got older but Raven Symone's acting was forceful like her stage mother was standing on the side telling her to act "cute" and like the kids, her acting has gotten worse as she got older, even today...instead she overdoes it, esp. on That's so Raven

I wasn't a big Olivia fan. I think I mainly disliked the character, because it was a new addition to the show. It was a step child for Denise and it ruined Denise's character a bit. JMO

Denise couldn't even take care of herself so why would anyone leave a irresponsible, flaky nut like Denise to care for a child who was clearly smarter than her?
