Anyone remember pogs? What were you supposed to DO with them?

I think I remember them - were they those round things that people used to collect? I remember kids bringing them to school when I was about six.

They were just things kids collected, like baseball cards. I use to get the wrestling ones and look at the pictures. That was about all you could do with them. I remember kids in my school were completely obsessed with them. It's like, if you had pogs you were cool. But of course, I didn't start collecting them until they were out of style. Story of my life. LOL!!

Yeah you could collect them, but there was some sort of game played with them too. I never had any, but my little cousin did.

You stack them up and then hit them with a plastic thing called a slammer and then whichever ones were face up, you got to keep!

Oh yeah, I remember that! The slammer was always clear, wasn't it? And the others were all coloured? At least, that's how I remember it.

I never collected them myself, but a lot of the other kids did.
