This is regarding the Bizarre Murders box set. At first, the theme seemed to be the newer segments, with a few older ones sprinkled throughout. However, I noticed that a lot of the segments have to do with government cover-ups/police corruption. Did anyone else notice this? Any thoughts? Of course, there is also plenty of it in the UFO and Strange Legends sets.
Now that I have typed this, I will probably end up mysteriously disappearing now.

I've also noticed this. I haven't been very impressed with the box sets. It seems like most of us on this board are more interested in the older episodes. I think if they marketed CD's collections, they could make a killing.

Well I mean if they wanted to put a few new ones in that is cool. However the show overall was way better in its first few years. After about 1994 or so the show really went downhill in terms of quality. I agree with Garrett and the rest of you that if they sold them by season they would make a killing at least on the first few years. This show was a top 20 show for the first few years it was on. From the time it premeried in 1988 until 1993 it was a top 20 show. From the 93/94 season on it wasnt in the top 20. In 1988/1989 season it was 15th in the ratings. In 1989/1990 season it was 11th in the ratings. In 1990/1991 season it was 14th in the ratings. In 1991/1992 season it was 9th in the ratings. However in the 1992/1993 season the show fell to 20th in the ratings and by the 93/94 season it had fallen out of the top 20 and never returned.
